GCyber is seeking a Power BI Data Engineer, to support a large Army customer. The Power BI Data Engineer will be responsible for scripting, data extraction, correlation, and the development of custom automation workflows.

As the Power BI Data Engineer, you will:
- Extract, correlate, and analyze data from cybersecurity tools (e.g., ACAS/Tenable, HBSS/Trellix, MDE/EDR, firewalls) using APIs, custom scripts, and automated connectors.
- Develop and maintain API integrations and custom Python/PowerShell scripts to securely ingest real-time data into Power BI.
- Automate the creation of real-time dashboards and reports in Power BI, focusing on key security metrics such as vulnerability management, compliance, and incident trends.
- Design and maintain dashboards with drill-down capabilities for Executive Leadership and analysts to track compliance, risk, and POA&M status.
- Provide insights into cybersecurity trends, gaps, and risk assessments through data analysis and periodic reports.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Active DoD Active Secret Clearance
- DoD 8570 IAT II Certification or higher (https://public.cyber.mil/cw/cwmp/dod-approved-8570-baseline-certifications)
- 3-5 years of data analytics experience for the DoD, specifically focused on data extraction, integration, and custom dashboard development.
- Expertise in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automating data extraction and processing.
- Strong experience in Power BI dashboard development, including building custom visualizations, integrating APIs, and automating workflows.
- Ability to develop and manage API integrations for real-time data flow between cybersecurity tools and Power BI.
- Experience in Power Automate and similar tools for automating security operations and alerts.
- Previous experience building compliance and vulnerability dashboards preferred.
