GCyber is seeking a Cloud and Virtualization Administrator, to support a high profile DISA customer in their mission to improve collaboration and information sharing between defense and intelligence organizations. As the Cloud and Virtualization Administrator you will serve as a critical member of the Network Operations Center Team ensuring the reliability and performance of the SWS  services and virtualization environment.

As the Cloud and Virtualization Administrator, you will:
 
  • Install, configure, and integrate servers and hardware, including VMware vSphere, Horizon View, and hybrid infrastructures.
  • Provide system administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting support for virtual machine environments and VDI errors.
  • Build and maintain highly available server clusters and virtualization environments to ensure capacity, availability, and performance.
  • Support AWS workloads, including security controls, compliance management, and operations in a hybrid infrastructure.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and resolve service incidents and problems for critical systems and applications.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
 
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a CI poly.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience, additional years of relevant experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • DoD 8570 IAT II Certification or higher (i.e., Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP)
  • 3+ years of system administration and/or engineering experience in virtualized environments
  • Hands on experience managing VMware virtualization infrastructures
  • Familiarity with AWS Virtual Private Clouds, Elastic Block Storage, and AWS Cloud Formation preferred
